Having a class pet makes the classroom more inviting to students. By acquiring the tank and bedding for my classroom, I will be able to get the Sulcata turtle that was so graciously donated to my students. I have wanted to add a pet for a while and with this donation, my dream is becoming a reality. I want my students to feel like this pet is their pet and something they will rememeber! We will having writing projects based on our turtle to give them something concrete to look at and get ideas. The tank and bedding will be exactly what our new turtle needs Andy will be used for year s to come.
