  • The Write Stuff!

    Funded Mar 31, 2025

Thank you for supporting my classroom. Making sure that my students have what they need for success is important to me. Without generous donors, the public school system would fail our students. Thank you for supporting my students . We are working hard to be productive citizens and will make a difference one day.”

  • The Wild Robot Part 2!

    Funded Oct 3, 2024

Once again, you have shown your love for Room 24. The Wild Robot Escapes is an amazing book and is bringing the love of books to my classroom. Kids today do not get opportunities to read entire novels. Our current reading series only offers excerpts of literature or informational texts. These reading materials teach reading skills but do not instill the love of reading that all kids should experience. My kids get so excited when we get the books out to read. They love Roz, and they talk about the book with such passion. I love it!

Thank you for donating to this project. You truly make the world a better place.”

  • Rock - Paper - Prizes!

    Funded Sep 18, 2024

Once again, you have helped my students get the things that they need. Thank you for donating to my project. The treasure box helps me reward a growth mindset and positive behavior. I stock the treasure box with items that my students want. It is a great motivator!

The two boxes of paper have also been a lifesaver. I have the option of making copies right from my printer, and I always have paper for the copy room. Most importantly, the kids have paper to draw at recess. Not all kids like to play so having paper for an imagination station is wonderful.

Thank you for your generosity. You make the world a better place.”

  • The Robot Did It!

    Funded Aug 10, 2024

Thank you once again for being such remarkable individuals. I am genuinely grateful for your support in my classroom. "The Wild Robot" has captivated our young readers, igniting their enthusiasm for daily readings and inspiring them to read for pleasure. It is a joy to witness their growth.

Your generosity has also enabled us to acquire Book 2, ensuring that our love of reading continues to flourish. We are incredibly fortunate to have DonorsChoose in our lives. Your contributions enhance my classroom by providing my students with essential resources. You are enriching their lives in meaningful ways. Thank you!”

  • Essentials for the New School Year

    Funded Aug 6, 2024

Once again, you have come to my rescue and made my classroom even better. My new math tubs have changed my math instruction. The manipulatives can be easily seen, and my students can get the tools they need easily. Math manipulative help my students during the direct modeling stage and are a great resource for my students with learning disabilities. The ink is also a bonus. I have my own printer. This allows me to print documents as needed, and I am able to differentiate curriculum easily.

Thank you for donating to my classroom. You make the world a better place.”

  • Tell Me a Story!

    Funded May 10, 2024

Once again, you have saved the day! You have brought joy and imagination to our classroom with Storyworks. Storyworks is a great resource to teach reading skills and introduce the kids to a wide variety of genres.

People like you make the world a better place. You make sure that the kids of this great country have what they need to be successful. We appreciate your generosity. Please keep on giving to classrooms and remember that you have helped a child learn to read. Reading is important for the mind, body, and soul.”

  • Investigating Our World!

    Funded May 4, 2024

Thank you for supporting Room 24. My students have a very limited view of the world. Scholastic News and Science Spin broaden their world view to prepare them for middle school through college.

They not only learn about the world and how things work, but they also get to practice higher level thinking skills through the amazing activities on Scholastic. They love watching the videos, taking polls, and having discussions. These tools are a great way to peak their interest.

Thank you for opening your heart and donating to these amazing children. We are blessed.”

  • Creation Station!

    Funded May 10, 2024

Thank you for donating to Room 24. Many of my students' families struggle to make ends meet. They can't afford to buy school supplies. So, I rely on Donors Choose to get my students the things that they need.

I like to get my students markers and colored pencils so that we can do art all year. At the end of the year, they get to take these materials home. Your donations make this a reality. The kids appreciate your generosity every time that they use them. As a matter of fact, some kids use them everyday because they take these materials out to recess to be creative. We also use the Kleenex for art as we love to use chalk, watercolors, and oil pastels. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
