• Great Vocabularies for Great Students

  We utilized Teacher's Pay Teachers for so many amazing resources both for TK and then 4th grade when I moved grades.

  It was used to help TK vocabulary acquisition by purchasing science units, social studies units, and various units to use as background knowledge.

  It was used in 4th grade to also support vocabulary acquisition in science, writing, and English Language Arts.

  The students have had so much fun using the various resources, games, and more. As a teacher, it has been a joy to have what I need to help students be successful.

• Listen, Draw, and Write to Learn!

  While I moved from TK to 4th grade this year, your resources stayed and enriched the experiences of our incoming TK students this school year. Thank you so much for your generosity and support. Students have used the resources for drawing, writing, coloring, practicing their names and so much more. The bags have been used for centers and holding resources. • School Supplies for School Success!

  These resources have been used for everything from centers to independent work to whole group work. We use them daily in writing, math, and ELA centers! Post-it notes are a wonderful quick exit-ticket activity to help me know right away if students understand or don't understand. We use the inserts for "Show me" boards and it is a great way for students to show their work quickly on the carpet.

• Write and Color in TK!

  Students came in to TK this year with the supplies they needed for success because of your amazing generosity. It was wonderful to start the year with every student having the crayons, pencils, play doh, and notebooks they need for the school year. Students were able to come in right away with pencil boxes full! With so many families struggling because of the economy and COVID, our TK team sincerely appreciates not having to ask parents for all the supplies but instead give them what they need right away. Thank you again for your help. You are appreciated!”

• Brain Games Galore

  Funded Nov 15, 2021

  Thank you for providing magnetic letters and brain games for my students. We use the brain games every single day in math centers, and we use the magnetic letters during small group instruction and centers. From letter names and sounds to CVC words, to short sentences with our sight words, using magnetic letters is a fun way to help students build confidence even if their writing skills aren't there yet.

• Time to Write in Transitional Kindergarten!

  It has been so amazing to have the things my students need to write in TK! We have been having a blast as we write and draw pictures. Students are learning how to sound out words and this will lead to stringing together their sight words with words they have sounded out to create sentences.

• Listen and Read Along Center

  It has been amazing to see the excitement on my students faces as they use our listening center to have books read to them. We use this almost every week to listen to and read along with a book then consider the characters or setting. Students love being able to follow along with the books and turn the pages at the right times. Thank you so much for blessing our classroom with this listening center and books to start our journey. Learning to read includes listening to and following along with books. Their journey has started with your help.”

• Reading Success with Heggerty!

  I was so excited to open up this package and begin using the items inside. The may not be as immediately obvious as the crayons we received in a previous project, but these items from Heggerty provide my students with the word play and phonemic and phonetic work they need to be successful in reading long-term.

  We use the book with daily, quick practice for everything from rhyming to putting together and pulling apart compound words, to first and last sounds. We also use the alphabet cards daily to review letters and letter sounds. When we start doing blends, that pack will also be very useful.

• Set Us Up For School Success!

  Thank you so much for supporting my classroom! I use these materials for and with my students every single day from whole group to both math and ELA centers. I truly love that I have everything I need to support my students daily. Thank you for your generosity!

  It is so much fun to see my students use Wiki Sticks to build letters and numbers. They use the giant tweezers to find letters to build their name or the high frequency word of the week. I use the whiteboard for our Whole Brain Teaching scoreboard and to display science cards. There are numerous resources I use daily and I truly appreciate it!”
