  • Ready, Set, Engage!

    Funded Oct 25, 2022

Thank you so much for your kind contribution to my classroom. With this gift card, I was able to purchase fun academic activities that can be completed in various learning stations. The materials I purchased provided my students with a rich learning experience that was meaningful and engaging.

My students benefitted from access to hands on materials to support their independent skills in my classroom. They had fun while developing skills that are important for their future. My students are eager to go to their independent learning stations and for many of them, it is their favorite part of the day.

The materials our class received will continue to serve as rich learning experiences for my class. They will be beneficial in my room for years to come. The next step for my class would be purchasing materials that will promote an engaging learning environment in my classroom. Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my scholars. Your kindness made a tremendous impact on my classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mullen

  • Virtually all learning together!

    Funded Jan 12, 2021

Thank you so much for your kind contribution to my classroom. With this gift card, I was able to purchase fun academic activities that could be completed in the virtual setting. The materials I purchased provided my students with a rich learning experience that was meaningful and engaging.

My students benefitted from access to adapted materials that were designed to meet their specific learning needs. Using adapted reading and math materials made virtual learning more accessible for all students in my class. I saw a great improvement in engagement and participation.

Even though we have returned to in-person learning, these materials continue to serve as rich learning experiences for my class. They will be beneficial in my room for years to come. The next step for my class would be purchasing materials that will promote a safe learning environment in my classroom. Thank you so much for supporting my classroom and my scholars. Your kindness made a tremendous impact on my classroom.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mullen

I am blown away by the kindness and support my classroom has received. Adding a new component to reading stations is only going to increase student learning and engagement in my classroom! • Inspiring Our Future Scientists, Mathematicians And Engineers

    Funded Feb 28, 2019

I can not express in words how much your kindness has impacted the students in my classroom. When our package first arrived, my students were bouncing with excitement to open up the packages, and explore what was in the boxes. We have been using the materials to work on building projects and hands on learning in our classroom.

The students I work with are visual learners. The hands on science learning kits have provided my students with opportunities to explore and discover difficult science topics such as force and motion and simple machines. While using the materials, they are able to see the scientific terms we are learning first hand. The building sets are helping my students develop skills in following picture directions, fine motor skills, and critical thinking.

Every morning when my students come in, they ask if we will be using any of our new hands on materials that day. They are excited for learning, and engagement has increased dramatically. Thank you for providing my students with the materials they need to increase their fine motor and critical thinking while also encouraging their love for learning. Thank you so much for supporting my amazing students!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mullen

  • Building Students of the Future

    Funded Sep 21, 2018

Thank you so much for your generous donation to my classroom. Many of my students do not have access to use updated technology in their homes or at school. Adding an I-pad to our classroom has provided my students with many opportunities to learn how to use technology. I also have several students who have limited verbal abilities and they are quickly learning how to access our new I-pad as a means of alternative communication.

When our new I-pad was delivered to our classroom, my students were so excited when I allowed them to open package. I have had the opportunity to use our new device for many different educational activities during the school day. I have noticed an increase in student engagement with all of my students since we began using our new device

Thanks again for your generosity and kindness. You have truly impacted the future of my students. Thanks for helping me to build students who are ready for the future!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Mullen

I teach an amazing group of 4th and 5th grade scholars who all have very different intellectual, sensory, communication, and fine motor needs. They attend a Title I elementary school in an urban school district with a high military presence. Although my students are all different, one thing they have in common is they all come to school eager and ready to learn. Hardworking, caring, and motivated is the best way to describe my class. Teaching and learning in my classroom has a functional academic and life skill focus. I work hard to help each scholar to learn skills that will help them have a successful and independent future.
