Students will be able to listen to music and speeches in history class, even if they cannot afford ear buds or if they forget to bring them to class! This will be an inclusive classroom activity, and the head phones can be used for years to come!
Music has the ability to reach all kinds of students, specifically inner-city kids who make up the student body in Roanoke City! Students will discover age old tunes while understanding the impact of song lyric and tempo using these conduits of sound. It would truly be a blessing to history curriculum at Breckenridge Middle School to explore the nuances of historical song.
