  • Crayons, Pencils, and Glue Sticks, Oh My!

    Funded Jun 27, 2019

Your generous donations mean more to my students and me then you will ever know! The materials you have allowed to be brought into my classroom will enhance their knowledge in so many areas.

There are so many useful websites and applications that are online that will benefit my students to enhance their reading and math abilities and by giving us headphones my students will be able to sit individually and use their apps to continue learning in these content areas. As much as it will enhance their educational knowledge it will also allow them to practice using technology. My students come from backgrounds where they do not have chrome books and therefore are unsure how to type on a keyboard or use a track pad which is something most of us take for granted. I cannot wait for my students to get started !

Due to the backgrounds and homes my students come from they are not always able to purchase crayons, glue sticks, and pencils. Your generous donations have allowed these materials to be brought into my classroom where students have complete access without the worry of having to go out to the store to buy them.

Again, we can not begin to thank you for your generosity and bringing new, updated materials into my classroom for my wonderful kids!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fisher

  • Materials to Start Us Off on The Right Foot!

    Funded Jun 6, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations to my classroom and students. These materials will allow my students to have organization when it comes to holding onto important papers and having to communicate with parents to create a home to school connection.

My students get so excited to create interactive charts and the chart paper you have provided for my students makes them so excited for all the learning that is to come. The sensory beads will allow my students to continue working on their fine motor skills and the reactions on their faces when they saw what they will be able to use was priceless!

I can not begin to express my gratitude for all of your continued support to create activities and experiences for my students that they may not otherwise be able to have.”

    Funded Dec 29, 2018

Thank you so much for your generous contributions to my classroom. My students are already loving the new drying rack in our room as we have already done numerous activities that require them to put their work somewhere to dry. The excitement on my students' faces to put their work there and know it will be safe from other papers makes them and myself so happy! When I walked into our classroom with the ginormous box one of my students said "Is that our new drying rack miss?!" We are extremely grateful that such generous people like you continue to improve our classroom!”

    With gratitude,

These materials will allow them to not only continue to increase their skills in reading and math by continuing to practice content they have learned, but it will also allow them to practice their fine motor skills which is such an important life skill. My students are going to be so excited when they see these new materials and get to put them to great use! We cannot begin to thank you enough for helping us!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Fisher

My students come from a low-income, high poverty area and are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite these challenges, I look to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. From the minute they walk through the door of my classroom I focus on their potential growth. My students are creative, clever and want to learn! I may not be able to control their home lives, however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day by creating a positive, safe environment where they will want to continue to learn and succeed!
