  Thank you so much for our fine motor boxes. My students will love these and not even know they are building their writing skills! I was reading a news article about how young children’s fine motor skills have dwindled with the popularity of electronic devices. It made me think of this project and how important it is.

• Please Help Us Get A New Roomy Classroom Rug!

  We absolutely love our new, spacious, beautiful, and colorful rug. My kindergarten students love the rug. It makes it easy for them to know where their space is and it is also very soft and comfortable.

  We use the rug for our morning meetings everyday. Today we unveiled our secret student and the children asked the student lots of questions. We also do movement songs on it. We learn on it. The rug is the center of our classroom.

  I truly appreciate your generosity! It has made a world of difference for our class this year (and will continue to do so for many years to come!).”

  Thank you so much for your extremely generous donations that funded these wonderful blocks. These blocks have made it into two kindergarten classrooms. I wish you could see a glimpse daily of what a game changer they are.

  Students are able to practice their spacial awareness, talk about shapes and design. There is joy, creativity, camaraderie and teamwork happening. It spills over into everything in the classroom.

• Help Wanted: Recess Cart Needed for K/1

  Thank you so much for your very, very generous support of this project. It is with great joy that I tell you the recess cart is being used by our entire school! All of the students LOVE it!

  It is so different to have a fully equipped recess cart outside during recess. The children are playing really well together! There is no more shortage of balls! They are a lot more cooperative and imaginative as they create games to play!

  I believe recess is such an important time of day and this ball cart is exactly what we needed.

  The entire school is so appreciative.

• You Sing a Song, and I'll Sing a Song

  Oh my goodness how do I say thank you for this amazing gift you gave us? It is so wonderful to have all of my teaching songs so easily accessible through this wireless speaker and my playlist on my phone.

  Music is such a big part of how I teach. We sing and dance everyday, many times! Singing and dancing helps us feel connected, brings joy to our hearts and also helps us learn! We sing songs about letter names and sounds and number writing pathways. Honestly we sing about everything!

  I have been hearing from people who have visited our that it is joyous and has a very strong community feeling to it. I credit that in large part to music and dance!

• Give My Students a Love of Reading with Decodable Books!

  We LOVE books in our classroom! Thank you for the beautiful decodable books that you helped us get. Both kindergarten classrooms love them!

  We are going into our Super Readers unit next week where we will really start using these daily.

  Our library is one of the most popular destinations in our classroom- the students love to go in there during play and look at books, during our soft start in the morning and also, of course, during our reading time.

  Books are the heart of our classroom in many ways.
