Out of my 26 students, there is a wide background. There are special education students as well as English Language Learners. I have children from Mexico, Burma, and Africa. We have a unique situation in our urban school district as we have a high Chin population. These refugees from Burma have been in the country anywhere from 1-4 years with their families. My students value their education, work hard, and have big dreams!
