Laptop for Lifelong Learning: Empowerment Through Technology
Funded May 7, 2024I hope this letter finds you well and filled with pride for the remarkable impact your generosity has had on my students' educational journey. Your support has enabled me to introduce an ASUS laptop into our classroom, revolutionizing the way the students learn and engage with educational content.
For many of our donors who may primarily use technology at home, it's essential to understand the profound ways in which it enhances learning experiences in schools. With this ASUS laptop, my students have gained access to a diverse array of educational resources, from interactive games that reinforce critical thinking skills to captivating videos that bring learning to life. These tools not only supplement traditional teaching methods but also cater to different learning styles, ensuring that every student can thrive in our classroom environment.
The most exciting aspect of this ASUS laptop, according to my students, is its versatility. Whether they're exploring new concepts through immersive games, watching educational videos that spark their curiosity, or creating instructional content to share with their peers, the possibilities are endless. The excitement in the classroom is palpable as students eagerly embrace this new tool, realizing the boundless potential it offers for exploration and discovery.
While all of the students have benefited from the introduction of ASUS laptops, there are particular individuals who have especially warmed to this new technology. For example, students who previously struggled with traditional teaching methods have found a renewed sense of confidence and engagement through interactive learning experiences. Additionally, the laptop has alowed me as a teacher to produce my own instructional videos.
In closing, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of our donors for making this transformative project possible. Your support has not only empowered my students to excel academically but has also ignited a passion for learning that will undoubtedly shape their future success. Together, we are truly making a difference in the lives of these students, and for that, I am eternally grateful.”

Funded Dec 3, 2018Thank you for donating to our classroom and assisting me in acquiring wireless computer mice for the students.
This technology is helping my students to interact with the software we use with more ease, especially when using Chromebooks. For example, the students use a math website in which they must answer questions by clicking on the correct answer. The availability of the mice allows them to answer with more speed and accuracy and results in more practice for the students.
The most exciting aspect of the wireless mice for the students is the ability in which the device is able to send information through the air and communicate seamlessly with the device. As a teacher, the lack of wires makes material distribution and collection a breeze because I no longer must worry about tangled cords, which in turn allows me to spend my instructional time more strategically.
All of the students have enjoyed the benefits of the availability of this technology in our classroom and this was made possible by your generous donation!”

Chromebooks for Writing, Reading and Engagement
Funded Oct 24, 2017Thank you so much for supporting the education of the students in my classroom! Your donation has allowed my students to begin to learn how to use the technology of the 21st century in ways that will benefit them throughout their educational careers.
The Chromebooks allow the students to learn about how word processors work, how they can edit assignments and how to move paragraphs around without having to rewrite their entire paper. They are also learning that information on the internet must be from a reliable source if it is to be cited or used.
My students favorite use of the Chromebook is a math program that allows them to play against each other and practice their basic computational math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing) in a fun and repetitive manner so that they begin to commit to memory these math facts.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support of public education!”

Computers for Classroom Learning
Funded Aug 21, 2015Thank you so much for your generous donation! My class has really enjoyed having two new computers in the classroom. The biggest difference the students have noticed is how much smaller, quieter and faster these two new computers are from the other computers we have. This new technology is allowing the students to be able to access the different software we use for math, reading and social studies as well as being able to type up documents and learn to use a word processor. These two computers are always the first ones to be occupied by students because they are so reliable! We can't thank you enough for the kindness you have shown.”

Books!
Funded Dec 26, 2011Thank you for your generous donation to our classroom. The books were received with much excitement and jubilation from all the students. The greater variety of books at different reading levels has given all my students more options as to what they read. This donation has really helped instill a love of books with many of my less reluctant readers.
My students were so amazed at the generosity of the local community, parents and organizations that made this possible. This donation has not only benefited the literacy options of these students, but also has made them aware of the magic in helping other in need. Thank you to everyone who made this possible!”

Funded Dec 25, 2010I can't say enough to express the gratitude I feel for having had this project funded.
The monitors have opened a new window to learning in our classroom, where the students are able to practice math and language skills. These computer monitors have also allowed my students to exercise more autonomy in researching their academic interests in class. In their free time, I have students asking to be able to either practice math drills or to research topics of interest, such as where the T-Rex lived.
The computers have opened up a new world of learning possibilities in our class. Thank you so much for giving my students the tools they need to be successful. ”
