This is many of my students first time learning about science. The early learners in my class are more interested in the process of discovering and manipulating the materials much more than the final products of their experiments. A strong school science program encourages children’s natural tendencies to explore, learn, and acquire language that is critical for thinking and mathematical skills. They learn through observations, manipulation, and communication about the data and discoveries during lessons where various subject areas are integrated.
