Thank you so much for all that you do in order to help my classroom to be successful! My students work so hard and I love being able to give them the extras that donors choose provides for them. I work in a very low income school, and students cannot always afford the supplies that they need to attend. Having these things readily accessible To my students helps bring joy to their faces and alleviates any any stress that they may have about having proper materials in school. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity.”

After participating in virtual yoga, your students can experience lasting physical, mental, and emotional benefits that extend beyond the session. These positive effects can help them navigate their school day with greater ease and confidence.

After virtual yoga, your students leave class feeling calmer, more focused, and physically refreshed. These benefits continue throughout the day, improving their ability to learn, interact positively with others, and handle stress in a healthy way. Over time, these small but significant changes can contribute to their overall happiness and success in school and beyond.”

  • Keep My Students Organized

    Funded Aug 3, 2024

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share how my students and I are utilizing the wonderful resources you provided through your generous support. Recently, we embarked on a project focused on organization, which has been instrumental in helping my students manage their materials more effectively. The binders and electric sharpener have become essential tools in our classroom, allowing students to keep their assignments and notes neatly organized.

When my students first saw the new materials, their excitement was palpable! They immediately began to explore the binders and were eager to set up their organizational systems. This enthusiasm has translated into a more structured approach to their work. In the coming weeks, we will continue to build on this project by encouraging students to reflect on their organizational strategies and share their experiences with one another. I am confident that this initiative will foster a sense of responsibility and ownership over their learning.

Thank you once again for your invaluable support. It has made a significant difference in our classroom, and I look forward to sharing more updates on our progress.”

  • College Signing Day

    Funded Apr 26, 2017

This event was a great way to end the celebration of the college application process. Our students researched, visited and applied to many schools across the United States and making the finial decision on where they will be the following September is not always easy. We wanted to let the seniors and underclassmen know how important they are and how proud we are of them. Some of our students were even taking AP exams before they were able to celebrate on Decision Day. This was truly an amazing event!!!”

  • Making Reading Come True

    Funded Dec 31, 2016

Using the Kindle has truly inspired students to find a love of reading. They enjoy getting to discover new books. The kindle has many important features to support their understanding of the text. Each student can adjust the font, which makes it easier to read. The students can also look up unfamiliar words to help improve their vocabulary and comprehension of the text. This is been an amazing new addition to my classroom.

The students are also getting lessons from the books on phonics to support their fluency and phonemic awareness. The students have improved how reading and decoding words correctly over the past few months. The books are not only teaching the students, but some of the staff has also been utilizing them.

All in all, these have support the students in my school and I hope they continue to work on and find their love of reading. They have grown so much this year and it makes me exciting for what they are capable of in the future to show our school and then the world!!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Lawton

My students are hard workers that are determined to graduate high school and go on to college. They are driven to succeed, but need additional support to do that. They all struggle in different areas and having computers available in the classroom to support them each day will be an amazing resource.
