  • Making Learning Fun Through Play in Centers

    Thank you all so much from Room 17 Pequeños Pasos Students and teachers. When the students seen all the bew goodies recieved from this project they were all extremely excited, they helped organize some on the different centers and played right away. The one I enjoyed watching the most is caring for the baby dolls and seeing them pretend play and acting like parents with the new toys in dramatic play. The students are enjoying the different animals and wooden cars in the block centers. Thank you!”

  • Learning Through Play for an Amazing Future

    I cannot express how thankful I am for your generosity. My students are going to be so excited. The easel will help with learning during circle time daily, and also the ABC resources. They will definitely enjoy the bingo and will help them recognize English and Spanish alphabet letters, just like shapes... with the magnetic shapes they will recognize shapes and be able to build with it and have fun in the process if learning through play. The flashcards will help me in a daily basis practicing letters and numbers as well as the magnetic upper and lower case letters. My students and I are very thankful, grateful and blessed. Thank you once more for your generosity. We can't wait to begin using and playing with all these items!”

Getting all of these items will help my students explore new things in the classroom. It will help me prepare them for their next stepping stone, specially those going to kindergarten and for the younger ones returning, it will help them to continue to learn and develop efficient daily life skills. They love art and love to learn Spanish and English during circle time and many of the bilingual items will be part of the strategies to continue learning it in the different centers and throughout the classroom. The U-Turn Easel will be used in different ways such as fun art and also learning during circle time, just like the Alphabet learning kit will be incorporated into the weekly lesson plan letter of the week. The road rug for block center will help them be creative in building things in a community. Our students learn through play and by having all these fun things, we will make it a fun school year to be in and get them prepared for many other experiences in school and with their fine motor skills, without leaving out that it will help them learn to take care of our classroom.
