My students are inquisitive five and six year olds that love to learn using hands on methods. They start out their schooling career excited to learn, and I strive to keep them excited about school and learning. By showing my students that I love to be at school and love being with them, the love is infectious. My school is a rural school that runs on a four day schedule. This allows for more structure and routine, but also has the kids in school longer. Keeping the kids actively engaged for the entire day requires some creativity and fun thinking.
