The children in my class come from a rural farming town. Most the children at our school are on free/reduced lunch. They are also English as Second Language Learners, as well as migrant students. But this does not stop my children from wanting to learn. They soak up everything that they read and are taught. Many of my students do not have books at home or have parents that are able to help them.
