I am an ELL teacher in a Title 1 public elementary school in Washington, D.C. I am a part of a team of seven ELL teachers and I help teach 1st Grade. I teach at a large school where 40-50% of our students are English Language Learners. As a school, we work hard to overcome obstacles and instill excellence and confidence in all of our students. We have a growth mindset in our school where we believe every child can succeed and teach our students to believe in themselves.
