Dry erase markers and whiteboards are an engaging way to practice math skills! My students love practicing math problems within their groups and participating in competitions with their whiteboards! We can even use these whiteboards during brain breaks to have funny picture contests. A little healthy competition gets these kids excited! We use quizlet.live to facilitate the competition, where each student must participate in order for the whole group to succeed. It is truly amazing to watch our students actively participating and engaged in MATH CLASS. The students are motivated by snacks and treats, so I will need prizes to encourage the competition between practice groups.
