  • New Laptop New Lessons

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

Thank you for your help in getting a new laptop for the class. The old laptop was slow to charge and quick to loose the charger. It would die before lunchtime everyday. Having a brand new Mac book has made a huge difference in the class. I am able to create lessons and workstation activities to help engage the students and support there learning. The amount of laptops in the class is extremely limited, so it is nice to be able to share the laptop with the students during center time when I meet with small groups. Once again, thank you for your support!”

  • Snack Time

    Funded Nov 17, 2023

Thank you for your generous donations that have allowed my students to enjoys countless snacks throughout this year. Having them on hand is amazing! When a student arrives late and is hungry before lunch, they can grab a granola bar. They are able to earn snacks as prizes for winning a game during station time, arriving and coming to school on time for each month for perfect attendance, or working together as a team at their tables. They are always excited to take a trip to the snack box to choose a snack. Having a variety to choose from helps them to stay motivated and wanting to do the work necessary to earn a snack. Thank you again for supporting the kids in my class. It is very much appreciated.”

  • Just the Basics

    Funded Sep 29, 2022

A big thank you for all the supplies that our class received from your donation. Basic supplies are often taken for granted but so necessary to help the class run effectively and efficiently. The tissues come in handy for all runny noses that seem to go on for the entire school year. We can never have enough pencils. I think the kids like newly sharpened pencils more than the teachers (who can blame them)! The clorex wipes help to clean away the germs and help our desks shine and the classroom smell so fresh. We are so thankful for your support and generosity!”

  • Getting Creative with Cricut Continued...

    Funded Dec 6, 2019

Having this Cricut has added so much to our classroom. These past few years have been very unusual and over the past year things have started to get back to normal. With the class returning to 'normal', the Cricut has provide colorful bulletin board titles, name tags, and manipulatives. I am excited to continue to use the Cricut this upcoming year and going forward. I can wait to explore and learn more about things that can be done with the Cricut. It has made creating things for the classroom and learning so much more quick, fun, and easy.”

  • Creative with Cricut

    Funded Mar 24, 2021

Thank you for all your generous donations. The cricut has brightened our bulletin boards by allowing us to cut out colorful letters. These letters help title our boards and show what wonderful work we have been doing. We have also been able to cut out manipulative pieces to use individually to help learn and model multiplication problems. We can't wait to use the cricut more as the year goes on. We will be starting a unit on fractions and will be cutting out fraction pieces to compare and create different fractions. Please know that you donations are very much appreciated!”

  • Problem Solving Solved Continued...

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

My students love the supplies that we were given to complete our daily math problems. It is so nice to have everything we need at our finger tips to explore different strategies for solving these problems. I love to watch how the students engage in meaningful conversations about how they solved the problem and how the challenge each others thinking. It is so amazing to watch. Without these supplies, the students wouldn't be able to present their thinking to the class and it would be too time consuming for the to copy the problems everyday before solving without the copy paper. Thank you for your support!”

  • Problem Solving Solved

    Funded Mar 12, 2018

Thank you for your donations to my project! The pencils and markers have allowed us to work in our math groups and have more meaningful discussions. The children have the materials that allow them to complete independent and small group work along with fostering deeper discussions. They are able to use the different color markers to chart their work as well as to make corrections. Through collaborative conversations that challenge each student's thinking, they are able to reflect on mistakes and correct them using the markers to document this thinking and reflection. Please know that your donations go along way to help each of my students become better problem solvers!”
