  • Replacement Chromebooks

    Funded Mar 29, 2017

Thank you so much. Now my students all have computers that work. These computers replaced ones that weren't charging or had missing keys.

My students are so excited to use these resources instead of doing worksheets. They are excited to try something new. One student even said "this is great, no more worksheets."

My students are going to use these resources during our center time. They will be able to use these on their own or with a partner. These should help them to become better readers by using strategies that we have learned in class.

This project will help reinforce the reading strategies that we have already learned. It will give my students time to practice them on their own and with partners.

Thank you again for your help. My students are so excited to start using them.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Day

  • Charge Us Up

    Funded Mar 15, 2016

This is just a small token of my gratitude for your generous donations to my classroom. The Chrome Books chargers that you have donated will help my 4th graders always have a charged Chromebook.Their computers will be charged so they can use them for math, language arts, science, and social studies.

Thank you again because without your help my students would never have had the opportunity to have fully charged computers in the class for web quests. They will be able to research projects for writing. They will be able to learn new ways to use computers. These fourth grade students will remember what they learned because they were able to learn about them first hand.

Without donors like you, my classroom would not have these materials and would not be able to learn first-hand about technology that is always fully charged.”

  • What Is Reading?

    Funded Oct 2, 2015

I can't fully express my joy, excitement, and thanks for your donation to my project. It is great to see that you share my vision for reaching children. In reading, we so often can't reach children who don't like to read..

The tools that you have funded will enable students to practice the concepts that we have learned in class. It will help them be able to practice the different things that we have learned. This will make them think!

Thank you so much. I can't wait to introduce these tools to the children.”

My students are 5th graders who live in a rural community in southern Utah. My students come from different social backgrounds and sometimes have moved around a lot. My students love to learn by doing. Anytime they can learn without worksheets they love and seem to remember those things better.
