Selfie? Say Cheese!
Funded Aug 16, 2023This was the best gift I could have received! Lately, there has been a very big push in regards to social and emotional learning. Every day we do a check in with the students to see how they are feeling, why they are feeling that way, and to specify what zone they are in on the mood meter.
Thanks to YOU, we were able to use the camera to capture the students expressing themselves in all of the quadrents of the mood meter. It turned into such a fantastic project and we couldn't have done it without you! The parents also loved seeing their pictures on the first day :)”

Resources PLEASE!

Time for Kids has been great because the language is kid friendly, and the students love the feel of holding a real magazine! When we first received our subscription the kids eyes grew wide! They were so excited to have a package delivered to the classroom just for them! They couldn't wait to explore the goodies and are eager to continue using the resources! Thank you!”

Funded Aug 2, 2020This has been such a crazy time for everyone as COVID 19 has certainly changed our lives forever. From the bottom of my heart, I could not be more appreciative for your kindness and generosity to my students. Some come from broken homes, with not much to look forward too, aside from school. School really gives them that bit of consistency and its thanks to you and your donations that helped make this school year transition smooth.
When we first opened the boxes I was almost in tears! Seeing all of the notebooks, and feelings journals, as well as the other materials really made my day. The students are becoming such strong writers using your notebooks every day! They are mastering their letter sounds and able to use the big magnetic lined board as a visual to see! Every part of your donation helped to provide for not only my students, but also their families! They were so happy knowing they did not have to purchase as much supplies, because so many kind people (YOU) donated it for them.”

The flex seats are SO comfy and work great during reading partnerships and small groups. The pencil grips are really helping us with our handwriting, we can't wait to show you our work! We are so touched, and could not be more appreciative. The crayons were put to use right away, and the designs we made were amazing! The cleaning products really helped keep ourselves germ free this flu season! We know how to wash our hands thoroughly, and with lots of soap! We clean the desks every day with the AWESOME Lysol wipes! Thank you for caring about us! We love you!”

Funded Oct 31, 2017When the phone rang and security informed me that our classroom had a package all of the kids were SO excited! They had been counting down to receive the materials, and we could not wait to try them all out! The kids were having so much fun creating so many different objects with the materials YOU provided us with! Some of the students were excited to try and build a car, wheels, flowers, a fish, and so much more!! Not only will this donation inspire the students to become innovative thinkers in the field of STEM/STEAM but it will do something much more...it will teach them the importance of team work! Team work is a skill that students don't always have right away. Having the opportunity to allow students to work together, problem solve, and continue to grow each others ideas is key to their future success. Thank you SO much for always supporting my classroom.
