  • Hands-On Science Resources to Inspire Future Innovators

    Funded Dec 27, 2024

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your generous support of our project, "Hands-On Science Resources to Inspire Future Innovators." Your contributions have made a profound impact on my students' learning journey in the science lab. With the new books and resources you've provided, my students have delved into exciting STEM projects and hands-on experiments, fostering their curiosity and critical thinking skills.

These resources have introduced my students to a wide range of scientific concepts, from basic experiments to more complex engineering challenges. Reading plays a pivotal role in our classroom, as we use books to explore real-world applications of science and inspire creativity. Many of my students have eagerly embraced these new materials, expressing their enthusiasm through active participation and thoughtful questions. Your support has not only enriched their educational experience but also empowered them to explore the wonders of science with confidence and excitement.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. A. Grimaldo

  • Sparking Curiosity with Snap Circuits!

    Funded Nov 6, 2024

Thank you so much for making our Snap Circuits project a reality! When my students first saw the Snap Circuits kits, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. They couldn't wait to dive in and start exploring. We opened the kits together, and it was incredible to see them immediately engaging with the components, asking questions about how circuits work, and experimenting with building their first connections. It was unforgettable to watch those "aha!" moments, with lights on and buzzers sounding.

We have already begun incorporating the Snap Circuits kits into our science lab to enhance our lessons on electricity and energy. One recent activity included students working in small groups to create a simple circuit that could light a bulb. They were so proud of their creations and even started brainstorming ways to make their designs more complex. The hands-on experience has made abstract science concepts tangible and memorable for them. Next, we will be looking into details of circuits in more depth, covering series and parallel connections. These kits are really promoting collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving that the textbooks just can't provide. Thank you for affording my students this opportunity to learn through discovery. Your generosity has instilled a love for science that will last them a lifetime!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. A. Grimaldo

  • Building a Science Lab with Essential Classroom Items

    Funded Sep 9, 2024

Thank you so much for your generosity in helping us build our science lab with essential classroom items! My students were absolutely thrilled when they first saw the new materials. Their faces lit up with excitement as we organized everything and prepared for hands-on experiments. The EXPO markers, glue sticks, and highlighters have already been put to use as we created models and diagrams to explore the water cycle.

One special moment was during a lesson on circuits, where students used their new materials to design and build simple circuits. Seeing their enthusiasm and creativity flow while they collaborated was truly inspiring. These resources have transformed our lab into a space where curiosity thrives and every child feels like a young scientist.

Next, we'll be diving into a project on ecosystems, where students will create habitat models and track how living organisms interact. Thanks to you, they now have the tools to succeed and take their learning to the next level!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. A. Grimaldo
