My dream is to instill the love of reading in students, specifically students in my reading intervention program. My students are struggling readers who are part of a reading intervention program. They come from different backgrounds and various grade levels. There are students in low socioeconomic homes, foster homes, living with grandparents, ESL students, and Special Education. The community revolves around the school. It has many parent involvement activities, places academics at the forefront, and strives to have every student reach their full potentional by setting individual goals and helping students to achieve them.

About my class
