Thank you so much for your generous donation. Typically this is the time of year that students lose interest in anything school related. Getting them to read is normally a hard task, but they have anxiously been waiting to see if the graphic novels and books they love would be donated to our library so they could continue the series. They were shocked and extremely excited to see the books arrive earlier this week. I even had a few kids from last year ask if they could come down and borrow the new books because they too loved the series.
Thank you so much for helps me keep my class engaged and motivated for the end of the year.”

Thank you so much for helping to provide my students, especially my lower level readers, with additional materials to keep them motivated for the end of the school year. Typically this time of year is when the kids start to lose interest in anything school related. With you help, we received high interest leveled readers to keep them engaged and going. Thank you so much for always supporting our classroom and helping provide my kids with the things they want and enjoy most. I am truly lucky to have friends like you.”

Thank you so much for funding our most recent project. This project was designed to help reorganize some of our indoor recess materials, update bulletin boards and brighten the room up. We were very excited to see the materials arrive and we're already putting them to great use. The bins are currently being used to hold our Magnatiles, Legos, Marble Run, K'Nex, and bristle blocks for recess time. It help the kids keep things organized and neat. It also helps to make things easier when cleaning up. Kids quickly toss everything in the bins and transition for lunch time.
Thank you again, we appreciate it!”

Thank you so much for your generous donations. Teachers Pay Teachers gift certificates are like gold to teachers this time of year. Typically this is when students need a little more of a challenge or spark in their lessons. These gift cards allow me to purchase high interest materials that will keep the kids actively engaged and wanting to learn. Typically fun end of the year projects or phonics materials are necessary. We greatly appreciate you support and look forward to purchasing things as the year progresses.”
Thank you so much for helping me restock our classroom. Typically this time of year is when we are running short on supplies, things are dwindling or have gone missing all together. With your help I was able to refresh parts of the room and make sure that the kids are read for the second half of the school year. We appreciate you continued support and look forward to using the rest of the supplies as the school year going on. Your support, like so many others, allows us to push through the remainder of the year. Thank you!”
Thank you so much for fulfilling this project. It was very generous of you and VERY much needed this year. The groups of kids we are currently working with have missed a big chunk of foundational skills due to the pandemic. Teaching those early primary grades virtually was tough on them and these resources will allow me to purchase additional materials to support their needs as we progress through the school year. Bridging their academic gaps has become a big focus throughout third grade and with your help we'll be able to do so.”

Thank you so much for your generous donation. With your help I will be able to provide my students with additional activities for our indoor recess time. During this time of year the kids often want to play on the computers that they use in class. I personally don't allow it during recess time because I want they to engage with one another and find ways to work together to do things. Through the use of these new STEM materials and the ones that I currently have, my kids will definitely be engaged during the cold rainy months ahead. Thank you for your donation!”
Thank you so much for helping to fulfill this project. During Covid our school disposed of all classroom carpets as a precaution to students. That meant that the carpets I personally purchased were thrown out, not realizing that some day we would be back in the room where we use them daily. This carpet will be put to use in our library area. This will provide students with a place to relax and unwind with a good book during our independent reading time. It definitely makes our room look and feel more like home! Thank you again!”

Third grade is a difficult year, especially with state testing requirements. With that being said, many of my students come from homes in which English is not the primary language spoken, therefore they struggle with reading and language usage. To help students remain focused on the skills being taught, these books will help "lighten" the material, and make reading enjoyable for them. I am planning to use these materials to give students additional practice with comprehension skills, to help improve their reading levels, as well as extending on skills from previous school years.
Each of the items requested can be differentiated to meet the individual needs of my students.
