  • Seats Needed for Centers

    Funded Jul 2, 2024

Thank you so much for donating the stools to our classroom. We understand that Amazon was unable to fulfill the order, however we were able to order some things that we had on our Amazon wishlist for the school year. We were also able to snag some really fun indoor recess games to help us keep busy during the rainy and colder days. These will also come in handy during the winter. The kids are loving them already and hoping for rainy days.

Thank you again for supporting our classroom and finding a way to keep us moving forward this year.”

    Ms. Nicholl

  • Restock the Classroom

    Funded Mar 18, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous donation. We greatly appreciate you assisting in helping us restock our room for the remainder of the year. It may not seem like much, but to us it's a big deal. My students thrive with a routine in place and the spot markers help us consistently transition around the room without any issues. The lamination sheets helped us with turning note pages into "dry erase boards" for homework and of course coloring has worked out well with your assistance. We appreciate your thoughtful donation!”

  • Updating and Restocking Our Classroom!

    Funded Jan 8, 2024

Thank you so much for offering to send much needed materials and supplies to my classroom. My class was extremely excited to see the new notebooks, paper, constructions paper and more.

Lately we have had to have indoor recess due to the colder temperatures and when this happens we fly through paper products. They are currently using the construction paper during this time to create model airplanes to see who can fly theirs the furthest during recess later this week. We appreciate your support and look forward to it in the future.”

  • Graphic Novels the Kids LOVE

    Funded Jan 1, 2024

I cannot thank you enough for bringing such joy to my class's faces when they returned from winter break. We received the packages midweek and as I unboxed all the new books the kids were screaming with excitement. Clearly, Dogman, Bad Guys, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and The Last Kids on Earth are BIG hits with them. Many of them began checking them out of our library to use immediately. This in itself is a miracle!!! This is the time of year when they despise reading and would much rather be doing other things at home, however I noticed some of my kids reading extra steps at night for their reading log. Thank you for boosting their reading moral!!!”

  • Updating Our Bulletin Boards

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. My class and I were a little disappointed when part of our order came in wrong from Amazon, but they were able to fix it. We were able to use the step ladder to hand up the holographic snowflakes in time for the holiday season. Now all the kids from second to fourth grade walk down their hallway as if it is snowing above them. We were FINALLY able to replace our horrible cardboard bankers bin with our mesh one for students to be able to hand in assignments. I have no idea how the last one survived this long, but this new metal one will definitely go the distance for a many years to come. Again, we appreciate your support.”

  • Organization Is the Key to Success

    Funded Nov 19, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. I cannot tell you how much my class needed these folders. Typically we order them prior to the school year and use a large chunk of our allocation doing so to make sure we have folders that last all year long. Unfortunately due to budget constraints we had to settle for cardboard folders which failed epically! Luckily I'll be able to transition over their folders prior to the winter break so we can start fresh when we return. Thank you again for making our classroom a little more organized this holiday season!”

  • Basic Needs for a New Year

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

Thank you so much for your generosity this holiday season. The items you've sent my students really put a smile on their faces. We did not have the resources for individual marker packs prior to the start of the school year, so when they arrived the kids were extremely excited to have their own. The table spots and pencil holders are perfect for our back table during our intervention block and for the kids desks. This will eliminate lost pencils throughout our day. The boarders will help update our bulletin boards and the zip ties will help better organize our computer cart.

Thank you again, it is greatly appreciated!”

  • Gearing Up for a New Year!

    Funded Nov 9, 2023

Thank you so much for helping to supply our classroom with the of the teaching essentials we use every day. I swear by the Schneider XB pens when it come to grading, Mr. Sketch tend to be the kids favorite and secretly mine too. I use them nonstop for anchor charts in the classroom. We fly through glue and pencils, so having back ups of these are always helpful, and at this point in the year Goo Gone and Gorilla glue are a must. Students pick at their names tags are taped down so having the Goo Gone and Gorilla glue help with removing the old ones and replacing the new.

We really appreciate your support and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!”

  • Random Classroom Needs

    Funded Aug 15, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. I was thrilled to see that this random project had received its full funding. Unfortunately, last year our classroom microwave burnt out and I wasn't able to heat up lunches when we have our 1/2 days or in class lunch days. I survived the year sharing one microwave between three classes but with your help that is no longer a problem. I also appreciate the hot glue gun and glue sticks. Our classroom walls are made of cinderblocks. Any good teacher knows that absolutely NOTHING sticks to them. I've tried packing tape, painters tape, putty, and velcro. The only thing left to try was the hot glue, and IT WORKED!

Thank you for funding such items. It's the little things that make such big difference.”

  • Good Books are Easy to Find

    Funded Jun 27, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation. My NEW class was thrilled to see that we've received so many presents the first week of school. We did an "Amazon Box Reveal" to get the kids really excited over the new books that came our way. My boys were thrilled to see the newest Bad Guys books, while my girls couldn't wait to get their hands on the new Lola series that you've provided. With your help my kids will be reading nonstop this year. I greatly appreciate your help and know that my class will be putting them all to great use.

    Thanks again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Nicholl

Third grade is a difficult year, especially with state testing requirements. With that being said, many of my students come from homes in which English is not the primary language spoken, therefore they struggle with reading and language usage. To help students remain focused on the skills being taught, these books will help "lighten" the material, and make reading enjoyable for them. I am planning to use these materials to give students additional practice with comprehension skills, to help improve their reading levels, as well as extending on skills from previous school years. Each of the items requested can be differentiated to meet the individual needs of my students.
