  • Encourage Curiosity

    Funded Dec 28, 2023

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our "Encourage Curiosity" project. Without your support, we wouldn't have been able to achieve our goal. I recently used the book "My Five Senses" along with Mr. Potato Heads to teach my students about their five senses. Each group received a Mr. Potato with accessories, and a spinner was labeled with the five senses - taste, touch, smell, hear, and see. Each student took a turn spinning the spinner, and when it landed on a sense, they had to find out how that sense is used. For instance, if it landed on "touch," the student would put arms on Mr. Potato to demonstrate how we touch things. Days later, my students were still talking about how much fun it was to learn about their five senses. We're all excited to start our Hydroponic Growing and Grow Window Plant project in mid-March, where we'll learn about planting our plants. Thank you once again!”

  • Kindergarten Portfolios!

    Funded Oct 30, 2023

Thank you very much for your donation towards our portfolio project. The students were overjoyed to learn that the project had been funded, as they love creating art for their math and English language arts lessons. Every week, my students learn a new letter, and we incorporate art into the lesson. We used the watercolor paper to retell a Halloween story. Without your donation, we would not have been able to continue with our math and language art projects. Thank you again for your generous contribution.”

I am at a loss for words to express my gratitude for your support of our project. Your generous contribution has had a profound impact on my students, making their learning experience more enjoyable and motivating. The interactive Hot Dots Pens along with the book and card sets are proving to be incredibly helpful in our phonics lessons, particularly when it comes to teaching letter sounds, initial sounds, final sounds, and rhyming words.

  • Kindergarten is Where the Learning and Fun Takes Place!

    Funded Dec 2, 2022

I do not have the words to express my gratitude for your support of our project. Because of your generosity, we received materials, supplies, and books that are needed daily. The books have been used to teach students about winter, how weather changes, and how animals hibernate. The writing journals are used daily to write and draw, and we are so glad to keep the writing in one place to see their progress. I can not wait to use the plant view to show students how a plant grows from a seed to a plant.”

  • Supplies for Daily Use

    Funded Oct 25, 2022

Thank you for donating to our list on Donor Choose. Because of your generosity, we received materials that are needed for daily use. The clipboards are used daily for students to write the room or when we do carpet work together. We no longer need to go into another classroom to use their pencil sharper because we have our own sharper. The three-ring binders and sheet protectors will be used shortly to place art projects to create student portfolios that they will take home at the end of the school year.”
