Funded Jan 24, 2022We appreciate your donations so much! With the cleaning supplies, we have been able to stay masked up and our room has been able to stay clean, and sanitized. We have been *almost* sick free in room 103!
With the ink, I have been able to print and laminate so many new puzzles and sorts for our class. The students have really enjoyed the variety of activities to choose from! I was able to find activities to make for all levels of learning. They also enjoyed having different color white board markers so they could rainbow write and draw colorful pictures.
Our students are most appreciative of having snack choices. We eat lunch at 1030am, and need a snack in the afternoon so we can focus on math. Our class is so grateful for your donations.”

Supplies, Snacks, & Surprises!
Funded Dec 1, 2020I know that it has been several months since you donated. I apologize so much for the delay. Our students LOVED their supplies! The white board markers lasted throughout the year. They were also able to pull out their manipulatives for math, and their mini posters for reading for reference and help. It was so wonderful to see them put more and more effort into their learning as the virtual year continued. We ended our year with a (masked) in person popsicle parking lot party. We still see most of those students on the way to their second grade classes and they hold their hands up to make a heart, which was our virtual hug and show of love.
Again, I am very sorry about how long it has taken me to say a simple, 'thanks.' Please know that everything we were able to get was so appreciated. We really loved the day we were able to read "There was a Cold Lady who Swallowed Some Snow" together and everyone had their own copy to look at. We read it right after it snowed, so it was extra special.”

Funded Sep 8, 2019My students have really enjoyed the cushions for our library! They love to get all comfy cozy during our reading station. Reading time should be comfortable and something they look forward to. I know when I'm reading, I have a favorite spot. Having the cushions has given them a new favorite spot in the classroom!
We are also super enjoying all of our new games! Specifically, "I sea 10!" and "Pop!" have been great additions into our math rotations. They're both fun, engaging games that make them really want to practice math facts. I have students ask me to play during indoor recess! They're in love with the big 120 mat also. They love this game where we start at 1, and keep rolling the dice to add onto the previous number. Its a race to see who gets to 120 first!
We are learning how to care for all of our new items! As a class, we have discussed the proper way to play the games and how to treat the materials. It has been really good for them to have the responsibility of taking care of everything!”

Mrs. Goodnight
