Distant Yet Determined
Funded May 6, 2020Remote learning for 5 to 6 year olds has been without a doubt challenging, but this project has brought a little joy to everyone during these difficult times. It was a pleasure to shop on line and create gift bags for my students, but the best part is when they drove up for our "Grab and Go Pick up." Their faces were filled with excitement when we handed them a large bag of school supplies such as pencils, crayons, markers, workbooks, uno cards, dominos and so much more. They can continue to grow academically at home now that they have supplies because of this project. Thank you so much for making this possible for my students.”

Ready for Comfy Reading!
Funded Jan 31, 2020We were jumping for joy when the large boxes arrived to our room. We quickly opened them and put our four chairs and pillows in our library. We had to move some book shelfs around to make them fit, but that same day we were all set up! It looks so bright and colorful! We took turns in small groups to visit our new space. It was so great to see each student carefully sit in the library with such excitement to read! They looked so comfortable too!
Thanks to you, our library is coming along. I would like to add a rug and maybe some live plants soon too. Thank you so much for making such a wonderful place for my students to dive into a book!”

Funded Sep 29, 2019Thank you so much for your wonderful donations. When the supplies arrived to our school, the box was put in our classroom before anyone was on campus. It was twice the size of my students. When we arrived, they couldn't imagine what was inside! They were happy to see our outdoor area slowly come to life! Now my class loves going to our new outdoor area to play in the sand and water box. I see the creativity in their play and love to see my students get a little wet and dirty as they learn and grow! Once again, thank you so much for helping us start our outdoor learning area.”

Funded May 4, 2019Thank you so much for donating to our classroom. Receiving our boxes was a highlight of this school year. It was like Christmas in spring!
The organizers are placed in the center of the tables and are used for not only our wonderful twistable crayons, but for glue, pencils and scissors as well. It is a great learning experience to have a community supply organizer so that the students have access to a wide variety of supplies and have the opportunity to learn how to share with others.
Once again, thank you so much for making in difference in our classroom.”

Funded Feb 23, 2019Incorporating technology into the classroom is so important for our students of today and leaders of tomorrow. We take attendance on line, we assess our students on line and report cards will be only electronic soon. It only makes sense that our teaching catches up with our time as well.
We actually struggled to get this product started! I had to have many hands on it before we got it just right. We quickly realized that having a mounted projector would be best, but we made it work with what we had and now have an idea for our next project! My class was so amazed when it worked and had so many questions. We were able to do our science lessons, review class work and do so much more.
My students and I are very grateful and appreciate everyone who made this possible.”

Jammin’ To The Beat!
Funded May 9, 2018Thank you so much for your donation! We didn't have much to sing our songs and dance. For 5 year old students, music and movement is such an important part of their development. It is how they learn!
These speakers not only have amazing quality sound for our songs in the classroom, but it has also allowed us to go outside and move too. We carry the speakers anywhere to sing and dance. Sometimes under a tree, on our outdoor stage or even the auditorium. I can use these to show videos with audio too.
I realized that one of my students loves to dance. The louder it goes, the more moves he does! Thank you so much again. My kindergarten class will be forever grateful as they sing and dance to great sounds!”
