  • Prizes and Rewards for Our Classroom Store

    Thank you so much for your donations! Your donations have been used to reward positive student behavior as well as increase participation during whole group lessons.

    Students work in teams throughout the week on a variety of assignments. When students go above and beyond they have the opportunity to earn table stars. The table with the most stars at the end of the week gets to choose a prize from the prize box and they are always so proud and grateful! We also use prizes for m our class dojo store where students are able to earn individual points and prizes . Thank you for bringing joy to my students!”

  • Classroom Organization and Supplies for the New School Year!

    We are in our 8th week of school and my students have been working hard!

    Thanks to your kind donations I was able to create a friendly and welcoming environment for my incoming first graders. I was able to have ready made bulletin boards inside and outside of my classroom to display student work. They are proud to display their work! My students are able to write, draw, and respond to reading with the crayons that were purchased. They have the opportunity to be creative and expressive themselves.

    The folders are used as take home folders for homework and parent communication.

  • Multicultural Books and Supplies for My 1st Grade Classroom!

    My students and I are very thankful for your generous donations to our classroom. We have already read and learned about so many wonderful characters the past few weeks of school!

    We share and listen to books during our morning read alouds. Students are so excited to be able to make connections with characters just like them. We love to celebrate differences and share how different makes us beautiful.

    During fun Fridays and daily writing activities the students are so excited to be able to use colors that match their skin tones.

  • Supplies to Create Amazing Student Work

    Thank you for your wonderful donations! My students and I are forever grateful. Because of you we have been able to start this year off on the right track.

    We have all the materials to be organized for daily work, whole group activities, and literacy work stations. We especially use the white boards, markers, and erasers daily for phonics practice. The kids are so engaged and they love being able to spell new words. We we're able to laminate students games and activities to use in stations.

    The students use the crayons to create beautiful work !

  • New and Improved Classroom Library that Focuses on Diversity!

    Our class is so grateful for the new and wonderful books you have generously donated to our first grade classroom! Because of your kind hearts and generosity we have been able to have a great start to a new year!

    Since the beginning of the new school year we have used our new books to introduce important skills such as being kind, celebrating differences, and learning new rules to follow in school. My students enjoy these books during daily reading alouds and love to reread them independently and during buddy reading time.
