  • A Table Will Help Us Work as a Team!

    Funded Sep 19, 2024

Thank you so much for helping fund our classroom project to get a new team table. It helps our students collaborate with each other so much easier to have a table to sit together. I am always so in awe of people who give to help with these projects and want you to know it truly makes a huge difference in the lives of children. It also helps make my teaching job do able. So....thank you!

Every morning when my students come to class we learn with STEAM blocks. A table to work at is an essential part to make this work. It helps us learn how to share with each other and also helps the blocks not fall to the floor. This is a favorite part of the day for many of my current and past student students (and I am sure future students too).”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Alonzo

  • Help Us Get a Table, So We Can Work Together!

    Funded Apr 4, 2024

My students come to my classroom everyday and the first activity we complete is not a worksheet, it is STEAM blocks. They get to communicate, imagine and play every morning right away. This table makes that magical time happen! A table is essential so that blocks are not constantly falling through the desks to the floor.

Thank you for helping my students and making our world be a better place. I can tell you that your donation bought us our table and made me (and 27 students) very happy.

Your generosity is so appreciated and thank you is not close to enough.

    YOU ARE THE BEST!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Alonzo

  • We Need a Table, So We Can Collaborate!

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you is simply not enough for how much this table will make a difference in my classroom. It helps my students to work collaborating everyday. It helps our supply boxes not fall on the floor. It helps us talk easier to each other. It helps us (and our teacher) be happier.

Thank you for caring about us and donating to our classroom. It is our family away from our own families. We are growing to becoming citizens that will change the world and make it better. This table is YOU being a part of that.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!”

  • First Graders Can Go the Distance!

    Funded Jul 28, 2020

This project truly changed the way that my students started their year with distance learning. I was able to drop off the supplies at each student's house before the school year started. This brought huge smiles to all of my students' faces. It gave students the necessary materials to be successful right away this school year.

My first graders are responsible every day by joining class meetings online, completing their assignments and always having needed items ready for class time. Children are truly stepping up during this pandemic. They are making the most out of being at home for school. I have been amazed by their work and willingness to learn online. Families at home are helping their children be successful.

Thank you again for bringing this project to life and helping a wonderful group of students.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Alonzo

    Funded Mar 2, 2020

  • Can You Me Hear Now?

    Funded Feb 20, 2020

Thank you so much for making this project happen! All of you have donated to our classroom before and it means so much to us every time that you do. Every project on here really makes a positive difference in our classroom.

This project will help my students be able to work independently on their iPads to work on their reading and math skills. The headphones we have are very old, so know that these new ones will be loved for many years to come!”

  • Vroom, Vroom! Fuel Our Classroom For STEM Resources!

    Funded Oct 4, 2019

Thank you for the Osmo kits and iPad! We are loving learning on our new resources. Chevron Fuel Your School is a game changer for my classroom. It allows more of my students to have an awesome learning experience with hands on materials.

Osmo helps students learn how to code, read, complete math facts, work with money skills, and build tangram shapes. Some of these skills are abstract and difficult for students to understand how to complete. However, Osmo kits present these skills in a fun, interactive and hands on way.

Thank you for caring about our students and continuing to support the next generation of learners.”

  • Help Us Make Our Classroom MAGICAL!

    Funded Aug 23, 2019

Thank you so much for the guitars, microphones, glasses, chalk, bubbles, and kwik stix! These materials made it possible for us to have a wonderful Rock Your School day. The students were overwhelmed to each take home a guitar, glasses and microphone. I still hear students saying that this was the best day ever! The chalk and bubbles made for a wonderful time outside on that very special day.

It is people like all of you who truly care for the well being of a classroom of young minds. You helped make a smile on many faces. Thank you so much for being who you are and helping to make the world a better place!”

My classroom is a "home away from home" for many students. I have wonderful 1st grade students. These students are caring, intelligent, and curious individuals that come together to form an unique classroom family. Everyday is different, because of the creativeness of my students. Despite the hardships my students face in life, they enter the classroom with a huge smile everyday and cannot wait to get started with their projects. I want to be able to create a classroom that can expand their imaginations. My school has many students, but no student is just a face in the crowd. Teachers and administrators make sure to get to know every student, so they feel special. Students are the key to our school's success. I want to ensure that each student knows why they are important and how what they do in the classroom today will help decide their future.
