  • Showing Students Why Recycling Is Important!

    Funded Feb 22, 2024

I wanted to thank you for your donation to our classroom. Our students have been able to explore recycling in their classroom. The coolest thing that they loved exploring was the recycling plastics density kit. This allowed students to explore different types of plastics and what the long term effects of using these plastics would be. Students were able to differentiate between the different types of plastics and determine how they should be disposed of in their community. Students were also able to present their knowledge to their peers to bring awareness to recycling.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Muzio

This technology has taught our students to work collaboratively and cooperatively together. My students were most excited about having a same space to use these new supplies. Our students were particularly drawn to Animal Crossing, which has allow them to experience fish and insect identification as well as growing and taking care of flowers and fruit on the island.

I can't wait to see what else we are able to accomplish with our materials!”

  • School Supplies to Brighten Our Learning!

    Funded Oct 10, 2023

I wanted to thank you so much for taking the time to donate to our classroom. My students were so excited to have unlimited access to any school supplies they needed in class. Rather than feeling badly because they don't have a pencil, notebook, post-it, etc students know they have unlimited freedom to take what they need, when they need it--no questions asked.

This has been a life saver for all of our children. Since EVERYONE has access to all supplies, then NO ONE feels as if they are any less than if their families cannot afford school supplies.

Our classroom is always thankful for your kindness and generosity.”

  • It's a Science World!

    Funded Aug 18, 2020

Thank you for all of your support with whatever project I post. My students truly appreciate it. We are currently fully remote for now, however, the Scholastic Science World allows students to log in from home to read current science news affecting the world today.

In class, we use these articles to support our learning. The images are high quality and students are able to read the Science World Magazines at any time they would like. Our logins give us access to all of the past articles so students can read science articles about whatever subject they are interested.

Thank you again! We really appreciate the support.”

Thank you so much for you generous donation to my classroom! Because of you, students have taken a more active role in keeping their school community clean. Students have access to any cleaning supplies they need at any time.

Due to this, students have taken an ownership for their classroom. They are constantly try to keep their space neat and clean. I teach in an urban public school. My students come from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Despite these differences, my students give their all to be sure they understand any topic that is given to them. As a result of implementing inquiry-based science, students are excited to come to class. When students line up to enter the classroom, I am constantly asked "what are we doing today?" and "are we doing lab today?" I teach 4 different sets of students including a gifted class that is using a high school level curriculum, as well as ICT classes that incorporate both general and special education students. There are 116 students that will benefit directly from your donations.
