  • Supplies for Success

    Funded Mar 5, 2020

On behalf of my students, I would like to thank all our donors who made this project a reality. The requested wireless computer keyboard was an excellent addition to our technology set up. The laminating film made our math resources more inviting to use as well as more durable.

The new sharpener is another great tool in my classroom because it eliminates student excuses about dull and broken pencils. Now, my students are always ready with their pencils because of this donated sharpener.

Again, a BIG SHOUT OUT to you all! Your generosity is very much appreciated.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Tapiz

  • Access to IXL Website

    Funded Nov 15, 2018

We would like to thank you _Chevron for funding this project. It is really good to know that we have companies like you who are always willing to help our students succeed in their studies.

I also would like you to know that my class started using the website and as of right now they have completed and answered more than 10,000 questions as a class. They love practicing the skills that they have been learning in class. I have seen a great improvement in my students by using IXL website. I do believe that if they continue to practice these skills, they will definitely be successful this year and that they will achieve the goals that I set for them.

Again, thank you so much for your generous donation.”

  • Digital Writing with Poster Printing in Math & Science

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

On behalf of my entire school, I would like to thank you for the donated poster printer. The digital poster printer is a valuable technology tool for our classrooms. My students started creating projects such as posters and anchor charts. Since my students are involved in the process of creating these learning tools, they can now comprehend more deeply and remember more of what they learn.

With the use of the machine, our entire school was able to create big posters for our schedules which are now posted in our respective classrooms.

Again, thank you for sharing your blessings to us. We truly appreciate your generosity.”

On behalf of my students, I would like to thank all our donors who made this project a reality. The requested materials arrived before school started, as a result of this my students came on the first day of school with a homework binder. We were able to organize this binder on the very first day of school.

The new sharpener is another great tool in my classroom because it eliminates student excuses about dull and broken pencils. My students were also very excited to solve math problems using the donated white boards and the colored dry erase markers.

Many of my students cannot afford the most basic school supplies. Without these tools to do the work, my students are challenged to achieve student success. About 75 percent of our school's population participate in a free or reduced-price lunch. In spite of limited resources due to budget cuts, my school met the standards set by the state for the school year 2018-2019 due to the hard work of the students, teachers as well as the support of the administration and parents. This year, I am handling two ESL classes, 4th and 5th graders coming from different backgrounds as well as different learning styles. Because of this background, that I want to promote healthy competition among my students. With the high expectations that I set up for each student in my classroom, I believe I will achieve my goal again this year, SUCCESS for ALL.
