My students are a lively bunch! They are vibrant and motivated to learn in spite of the hardships they may encounter in their daily lives. I teach in an inner-city public school. As a Title I school all of our students qualify for free breakfast and lunch. Over eighty percent of our students are English Language Learners. Many of their homes lack essential educational resources.Unfortunately, many of them have never traveled outside the boundaries of their community and few students have interacted with individuals from different cultures. I strive to provide an open and positive environment to enhance my students' learning in order for them to reach their potential both academically and socially.
