Charged & Ready
Funded Oct 10, 2021The charging carts have made such an amazing difference for students to quickly and easily access their chromebooks to work on apps to help close learning gaps from our COVID quarantines. Apps like Prodigy, XTRA Math, Vocabulary A-Z, give students a chance to work at their own pace, closing learning gaps from the last two years.
Apps like Kiddle, NatGeo Kids, and an app called Typing Club that provides typing practice, are preparing the students with enrichment activities to construct their own digital research paper!
It is amazing to have them so accessible and the kids learned quickly how to grab and go and how to return them to the carts, this makes using them for a quick activity a LOT easier!”

Beebots: to Start the Journey to Technologies of the Future!
Funded Jun 13, 2018The Bee-bots have brought engagement to our classroom for english language arts standards, and math standards as well as a way for students to solidify their understanding of computer science standards. They are so fun to interact with and the kids just love them.
The students have over 20 different mats to use the Bee-Bots on, including upper and lower case letter matching, sight word seeking, game playing where they have to tell a story about Bee-Bots journey on a pirate ship, on a race track, in a haunted house, and in an old western town. There are mats for math fact solving, and they have blank mats that they can create their own journey for Bee-Bot.
Most importantly the students love them, and don't realize the amount of standards they are accessing and the problem solving skills they are practicing as they trouble shoot Bee-Bots journey.”
