Infield Glove 2023
Funded Mar 28, 2023I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation that brought a smile to my face on this morning. Your support towards our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable teens in New York City is deeply appreciated.
Our team has been working tirelessly since 2014 to provide a safe and friendly after-school activity for our students. Our goal is to create a community where young people from diverse backgrounds can come together and form bonds through shared interests. Many of our students come from lower-income households and face unique challenges, such as language barriers, limited family support, and the hardships of living apart from loved ones. Our aim is to offer them a positive outlet through our baseball program and provide them with a sense of belonging.
Your donation will help us create this safe and inclusive space for our students. It will go a long way in ensuring that we can provide the necessary resources to make their experience on the baseball diamond a memorable one. On behalf of the teens we serve, I want to express my heartfelt thanks for your generosity. You have made a real difference in their lives and we are honored to have you as a supporter of our mission.
Thank you once again for your kindness and generosity. Your contribution truly means the world to us!”
With gratitude,
Mr. Ceballos

Funded Dec 11, 2022The Truth is you guys made my day!
As I sat here this morning opening the mail, I came across your generous donation. I can't tell you how much I appreciate your support for our life changing work with some of New York City's most vulnerable teens.
In creating our donorschoose page, our goal is to provide our students a positive activity to do after school, among friends in a safe and friendly environment. Since our team's inception in 2014 we have served nearly 80 students ages 13-19, mostly from lower income households, where their families are either struggling to get by or experiencing the hardships of mothers, fathers, and even siblings living apart from one another, many times in another country. They end up in our schools with a variety of needs, oftentimes not speaking the language, having any family near, or sometimes sharing living quarters with relative strangers. Our students are immigrants and minorities, many who come with very little by way of money or experience and need something to keep them motivated and excited to keep coming to school everyday.
We love them all the same, and so we decided to create a baseball team that will allow them to develop bonds with others who have similar interests, on a baseball diamond where the grass is always green and it isn't over until the fat lady sings. Your generous donation will go a long way to helping us provide this safe space.
Thank you! You have made a real difference in the lives of the teens we serve, once again for your donation. It means the world to us!”
With gratitude,
