Dry Erase Markers Replenishing Campaign
Funded May 10, 2013Well as soon as my students learned that each one of them would receive their very own dry erase marker eyes lit up and imaginations stirred. Their first opportunity to draw whatever they wanted was a glimpse into what's inside those growing minds.
We have utilized the markers every day. Along with the white boards we have deviled into math strategies, language arts, art, penmanship, and just open craziness!
The children understand how they were able to get the markers and greatly appreciate the most generous donation. They should be well covered for the duration of the school year.”

A Step Into the 21st Century
Funded May 23, 2012It has been a tremendous and wonderful experience for my students with the new classroom laptop computer. We can now take full advantage of the many technology based educational tools offered in this the 21st century. Not only can we travel to the real Great Wall of China or see famous paintings in the Louvre Museum in France, but interactive programs give the children hands on experiences to further build upon their educational needs.
Alongside other technology based devices granted to my school this laptop makes the final connection allowing my students and myself to actually use them. With the current software and applications of a new computer we can now be comforted with the ability to keep up with techno based issues for a good while, knowing how rapid things change in this industry. Our greatest thanks go out to you who see the children of the world as all of our futures.”

Dry Erase Markers & Boards Help Students Feel Empowered!
Funded Mar 17, 2012Since receiving the white boards my students have enjoyed using them as part of their daily learning routine. When they the hear the words "take out your white boards" smiles abound.
My students have discovered using the boards and makers can help them think and process math, reading, writing and artistic challenges. It's great for me to be able to say , "well erase it and try again." The students are empowered to not give up, try again, or do what ever you feel like; be yourself.
I'm loving the side with lines. It's been wonderful to see all the boards up at once allowing me to quickly check student accuracy and neatness. The students like using them for guidance and creating geometric shapes!
The white boards are a terrific teaching tool and I thank you all for making my project successful.”
