  • Reading and Printing

    Funded Nov 14, 2022

Thank you again for helping out our third graders! Reading is a huge push in our district this year so the decodable books have been extremely beneficial in small groups especially with our English Language Learners. We have been able to do writing activities with them as well as support the work that is being done in Fundations.

Thank you again for helping out our classroom and students. The ink for the printer is also beneficial in making scaffolds and picture cards for all our students. We appreciate all your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fannon

Our students have benefitted from many scaffolds that are now printed in color. It has especially helped our special education and English Language Learners learn more tangibly. Thank you again for making this possible, and helping us create a welcoming environment for our year back from remote learning!”

    Funded May 3, 2021

This school year has already gotten off to a better start because of your generous donations. Our students are getting acclimated once again to being in the classroom and the new supports are a big part of that. Our students are enjoying this school year and we are hoping to make this one the best yet. The classroom decorations have made this room so inviting for the students! It is our favorite theme yet and we hope to keep it for the next few years. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. Our students are very lucky to have people like you in their lives.”

Remote teaching and streaming has been challenging for us this year, but luckily we have switched over to in person teaching! Your generous donation has made a positive impact on my co-teacher and I by making our teaching strategies in person and remotely, more effective. • Colorful Printing

    Funded Nov 24, 2019

We have already put the ink to good use in our classroom by being able to print colorful anchor charts for our students to use. The toner has been extremely helpful for printing everyday necessities for the students as well.

We really enjoy printing on colorful cardstock with the toner. This will definitely get us through the 2019-2020 school year! We cannot tell you again how appreciative we are that you continuously show your support for our classroom and students. You can see from the picture that I have attached how happy our students are because of you.

    Thank you again.”

    Mrs. Fannon

  • Flexible Seating to Make Third Grade Fun!

    Funded Jan 18, 2019

So far we have had our flexible seating options available to our students for about a week. They say that the lap desks are so comfortable and they run to them after every mini-lesson. Even some of the teachers have tried out the desks and think they are great! The bouncy balls offer a variety of of choice for students and some are really enjoying them as well. In the next few months we would like to expand our flexible seating even more, with more choices for students as well.

Thank you again for your donations!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fannon

  • Getting Organized in Third

    Funded Aug 22, 2018

We have had our baskets and chair for a little while now and the students are loving them. The chair is the most comfortable place in our classroom where our Student of the Week gets to sit during instruction time as well as independent work time. It makes them feel really special. The baskets have kept our room organized and make the classroom look more attractive. Our leveled library is kept neat by our students too. Thank you again for helping us create a welcoming environment for our students! We truly appreciate it!”

  • Differentiated Learning for all Students

    Funded Dec 22, 2017

Since receiving our resources, our class has shown a lot of progress, especially in writing. With the ink, my co-teacher and I are able to print out everything in color for our students, which makes things tangible for them and they can definitely relate to it more than a black and white photo.

The students seemed the most excited about the clipboards, surprisingly. We numbered each of them and they take great care of their own. They are helpful in the meeting area so that students can take notes during the mini lesson.

The 10-pocket folders will be used as "toolkits" for reading. Each pocket will have a different reading strategy to help students with what they need specifically. This is taking awhile as I have to make the tools to go in them as well but should be done soon. Thank you again for your generous donation, my class is extremely grateful.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Fannon
