  • Let's Get Hands On!

    Thank you so much for providing Park students with the materials they needed to get hands on with their projects. Students love having the different materials available to them to make their class work easier to complete.

    The headphones and mouses provide students with technology supports that were greatly needed. Walking into my classroom you can see students engaged in their work, using the headphones to support their learning through text to speech resources, help videos, full access to coding programs, and other aids. The mouses elevate the use of a chromebook by allowing them to create CAD (computer aided designs) much easier than the traditional trackpad, and has allowed them to create amazingly detailed designs.

    Students are thriving in the classroom thanks to the donated materials. They enjoy having access to all of the items and are excited to continue working learning and creating.”

My goal is to give students access to a variety materials and manipulatives that can spark interests in subjects across the curriculum, allowing them to make deeper connections and better understandings of lessons. Having learning opportunities that are accessible and engaging creates a passion for lifelong learning.
