  • Organization to Help Students Get Work Done!

    Funded Aug 7, 2019

The organizational materials we received from this project have really transformed our classroom. I was able to create a supply table for my students using the rotating caddy and the paper organizer which my students visit every day to get the supplies they need.

We use the bins we received to organize library books at our desks as well as supplies we use during science. We are currently learning about energy and the way electricity moves through a circuit, and the neon bins we received from this project help keep our supplies organized. We are able to keep all the lightbulbs in one bin, the wires in another, and batteries in another. This makes it so much easier for students to get the supplies they need as well as return them when the day is over.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Patch

  • New School Supplies for the New School Year!

    Funded Aug 4, 2019

Thank you so much for your donations to this project! My students use the supplies we received every single day. They really appreciate having the supplies they need to finish all their work. Having extra supplies also helped relieve the pressure students feel when they misplace a supply they need for the day, and has helped the days run smoother for us.

On the first day of school, my students were so excited to see all the new school supplies I had ready for them. I explained to them how we were able to get so many new things, and they were so thankful for your donations!”

  • A Flexible Classroom for Flexible Minds!

    Funded Jul 2, 2019

Thank you so much for your donations. I know this is going to be an amazing school year! It means so much to me that I get to work with students from the community I grew up in. I can't wait to help my students expand their minds and their love of learning!”

    With gratitude,

My students are having difficulty holding pencils, cutting with scissors and even opening food packages. They need to have extra time to work on their fine motor skills so they can be able to accomplish all of our kindergarten goals. These materials will allow my students to excel in kindergarten. The materials I chose all help students start using their fingers in specific ways that they are not used to. The pencil grips will make it easier for students to maneuver writing tools that they need to write their names and number. Help me get the materials my students desperately need to improve their fine motor skills!
