Once my project is fully funded, I will use the tablets for several activities in the library including online reading, research, STEM activities, etc. Many of my students have never used a mobile device to read a book. Most of them only know how to download an app for a game. There is so much more that can be done with a tablet in terms of education and technology. Technology plays a very important role in education today. It is imperative that our students have access to the necessary resources so they may be successful academically. These tablets would allow students to explore things such as E Books, Audio Books, Online Encyclopedias, and Coding Activities. It is my hope that my students take what they have learned in the school library and continue to use those concepts and applications for years to come.
