Can you believe I work where I was once a student! Whoa, tell me about it. I had amazing teachers (who are still there) that made a HUGE impact on my life. The demographics have changed but kids will be kids. I have very lively and diverse group of third graders. Throughout the day I see my homeroom, reading group and math group. My reading group consists of 13 struggling readers. Many are pulled out for additional ESE services. These kids are dear to my heart because, lets be honest, one time or another we have all struggled in something and needed to work hard to achieve a goal. As a newer teacher with new standards coming my way, I want to provide my students with interesting and exciting literature to spark and interest and get the fire lit.
