  • Future Leaders Squad Literacy Center

    Funded Nov 11, 2021

Thank you for choosing my project to get fulfilled! My students have enjoyed the resources in the classroom and now we are able to have different resources to impact the learning of these students. Each and everyone of my students now has materials to help expand their learning and continue to work towards their goals in their Individual Education Plan (IEP). My students have enjoyed learning to read and write and become active students through play-based learning that has happened in the class. These materials have made a positive impact to continue to learn as we go through this new school year.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Rivas

Creating a space for my Future Leaders Squad (FLS) students to learn to read, write, and practice will enhance the possibility of all my students to be successful as they continue to grow academically. Being inclusive in the classroom and allowing the use of differentiated materials for my students is going to bring so much great ways to continue to expand my students learning. With the use of magnetic letters, boards, sentence strips, emergent reader books, word tiles, and alphabet manipulatives, I am giving an opportunity for differentiated learning in the classroom. Making learning fun for my Future Leaders Squad (FLS) students is a dream come true for me as a teacher. Being able to celebrate their diverse ways of learning with these materials will provide for them an opportunity to excel in an inclusive classroom.
