I, Robot
Funded Mar 1, 2020Having the Ozobots in the classroom has been invaluable to the students and their learning. Students have been able to participate in activities that not only introduce them to the world of coding, but also connect across content areas. Ozobots have been used for our class projects, morning meetings, and for self-discovery as well. My students are constantly asking when we will be getting out the Ozobots again. When this kind of technology is included in the classroom, the children are truly mesmerized, and we have YOU to thank for that!”

Go The Distance!
Funded May 5, 2020I cannot thank you enough for your generous and quick response to this project during the nation-wide pandemic that has unfortunately affected how our students learn. Nothing can replace in-person learning between a teacher and his or her students, but we can provide resources to help bridge that gap!
You have helped me purchase valuable items that will assist my students with not only continuing their learning over the summer, but providing resources to help them review or cover missed skills due to the Coronavirus school closures. Thank you for caring about my students!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Austen

Funded Nov 1, 2019I cannot thank you enough for continuing to make my classroom a place where students enjoy learning. The new, round, white board tables are a big hit with my fourth graders and have even generated some talk among other students in the school! My students were thrilled to receive the tables and replace the old, well-loved desks that had been previously used for years.
The tables have provided my students with more opportunities to collaborate effectively. We have used them for group discussions, STEM projects, science labs, and centers. The dry-erase tops are used frequently for brainstorming scenarios. These tables also make our classroom feel more spacious, allowing for more interactive lessons and places to spread out when completing assignments.
Your donations truly impact every student who steps into my classroom. Thank you for supporting education and teachers like me.”

Funded Jul 26, 2019I cannot thank you enough for your generosity. Your donations have made for some exSTREAMly happy students! They were so excited and grateful to have things like Goobis, Snap Circuits, and more. With the STEM/STREAM materials, we have created bins that the students have access to daily. Every morning they are able to channel their inner engineer and design the coolest structures with these materials.
We have also started incorporating more of the engineering design process into our science lessons. Students are able to apply what they've learned and make valuable connections by using the STEM materials.
I am very eager to continue to provide STEM opportunities in my classroom and help grow young minds, and I could not do it without you!”

Bee a Reader!
Funded Sep 9, 2018Our third grade class cannot thank you enough for your generous donations in order to provide books for our classroom library that reach students across all reading levels and interests! Students have been able to take the skills and strategies that we have been learning during our lessons and apply them within their own independent reading. Important skills like characterization, drawing conclusions, making predictions, identifying story elements, and fluency practice have aided students in boosting comprehension within these texts.
My students jump at the chance to read any chance they get. Students are given the opportunity to read after finishing morning work or completed assignments throughout the day. However, I believe their favorite time to read is during our reading block every day. Not only do they practice what we've learned in novels in small groups, but they get independent reading time in which students are able to find a comfortable spot around the room to do their best reading. Students love to show me, and each other, the books they have chosen and the progress they have made.
I am thrilled to say that our class library is now the place to be in our classroom. My avid readers continuously find books to dive into. What is especially important to me though, is that the books that you have given us have also attracted my reluctant readers to find series that are suitable for them and have excited them about reading. Our class library has played a vital role in growing readers, all thanks to you.”

Mrs. Austen
