My students all participate in 100% community-based instruction, that means I do not have a brick and mortar classroom. I teach out in the community where my students live. We practice life skills that include, but certainly not limited to: traveling in the community using public transportation, money skills, accessing local community activities, practicing job skills, and familiarizing students with recreational and leisure activities. All my students are between 18-22 with a moderate to severe disability.
