Sort It---Save It...Our Earth and Our Landfill That Is!!!
Funded Dec 30, 2010Your funding for this project made our year! Thank you for your help with a project that will be long lasting. Our class has enjoyed recycling items and students have learned which items can successfully be recycled by looking for symbols and numbers. Helping these Pre-K students engage in recycling is building a foundation for taking care of our earth for their entire lives! Many families have begun recycling due to the students bringing the idea home.
All I can say is THANK YOU. You have made a great impact on our school climate. One of the pictures shows the area we have for recyclables. My students look forward to Wednesday, which is recycle day. On that day, we look in all our bins and add to a chart that we use the information from to make a graph.
From the bottom of my heart....and the recycle bin, Thanks again!!!”

A Place for Everything...and Everything in it's Place
Funded Nov 27, 2008What a wonderful of a gift to look forward to! Thank you for funding our project. Now the students in my class will have greater learning experiences by being able to find items and replace them in three different centers with these organization items. Hopefully as a teacher it will help me to be more organized also!
Again, thank you so much for you donation to our project. You are brightening the lives of these and future students in Pre-K.

Germ Fighters in Pre-K
Funded Jan 4, 2008I am so grateful for the generous donation to the Pre-K class at Egan Elementary. We will be "germ free" at snack time now. I cried when I saw that the proposal was fully funded already. You have made my day...and the children will be so excited to have a place to sit and not take turns at the tables.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
