I've specifically chosen this charging station because it promises to offer full charging power to all devices connected to it. The downside to the pictured "homemade" charging station is that the power that is sent through the hubs is decreased each time a new device is attached. That causes VERY slow charging times and in some cases, actual LOSSES of power. Although my intent was to provide a needed service to all of the students in my school, my effort fell short. Nearly our entire student population appreciate and try to take advantage of the current "homemade" charging station, so I feel that I'm letting them down for not being able to provide a reliable, simple (and needed) service. With their freshly charged devices, they can take part in the 21st century technology including many of the interactive quizzes and games that are used for reviews, surveys, etc. which will help to keep them up-to-date with the latest technology
