• WholeChild: Equipping Minds, Hearts, and Futures for Academic Success

  We are incredibly grateful for the new resources provided, which have quickly become essential in our daily activities. The dry erase markers and erasers have made interactive lessons more engaging, allowing students to participate actively in problem-solving exercises. The incentives have been a fantastic way to motivate and reward students for their hard work, creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. One specific project where these tools shined was during our math review sessions. Students worked in pairs to solve problems on their whiteboards, quickly erasing and trying again if needed, which fostered collaboration and critical thinking.

  When the students first saw the new materials, their excitement was palpable. They were eager to explore the colorful markers and new learning tools. Their enthusiasm translated into an increased level of participation and focus during lessons. As we move forward, the next steps involve using these tools to delve deeper into our current science unit. Students will be using the markers and whiteboards for group activities, where they will brainstorm and present their findings on a topic, helping them develop both their collaborative and presentation skills.”

• Filling the Gap of Virtual Learning

  I am so grateful for your generosity. My students were so excited to pick up their bag of new resources! It's been a bit of a challenge to keep my Pre-kindergarten students engaged in daily instruction but these materials have made such a difference in our virtual classroom. The students are more engaged and motivated to learn.

  I use the materials for instruction daily and it's a great way to check for understanding. Instead of having each child respond individually to questions, they can show me their response using the materials.

• Virtual Pre-K Learning Supplies

  I can't thank you enough for all of your generous donations. My students have been able to engage so much more in learning with these materials. They are now more eager to participate and try things on their own.

  We use the white board paddles and dry erase markers the most. They have been so helpful when checking for understanding. I can have students write a letter, draw a shape, or a picture. They all hold their paddles up in the zoom meeting and we do a quick scan to see who is understanding and who needs more support.

  Seeing the students excited to use the same materials that I'm using makes it all worth it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! It is greatly appreciated.”

• Puppet Theater for Pre-K

  Funded Nov 27, 2018

  I wanted to take a moment to thank you again for your very generous donations towards my project. My students were so excited for the new addition of a puppet theater in our pre-kindergarten classroom and it has had a fantastic impact on them.

  The puppet theater is used it two different ways. It is a center that can be selected during choice time and the children can choose to read with a puppet in our classroom library.

  My students have had the best time using imaginative play and taking on different roles with the puppets. Even my students who are very shy have become more acquainted with their classmates through use of our puppet theater.

• Wanted: 21st Century Technology

  I am so very appreciative of your generous donation for my project. My pre-kindergarten students were so excited to receive new tablets for our classroom.

  This technology has helped reinforce and extend upon skills I've taught during whole group instruction. It has enabled me to personalize the learning for my diverse learners. The students work on the tablets independently so that they are receiving the reinforcement or extension they need.

  The students have been engaged in apps that provide exploration and those that are interactive. Both have had positive impacts on my students academic progress.
