Hey all, my Forensic Science students need your help! Every year the students solve a fake murder mystery, that I’ve written, by using DNA found at the “crime scene” to the DNA of the “suspects”. In order to do this, they need to have a power source for what is called a gel electrophoresis chamber. One of the power sources needed to make this STEAM learning happen has gone kaput. In order to perform the lab this year, they need a new one. This lab is a great opportunity for students to get a hands-on look at what occurs in crime labs during investigations.
