Our school is the smallest public elementary school in our town. We have about 390 kids from preK to fifth grade including two autistic classes. Integrating science into my library curriculum has intensified my student's interest in life sciences, making the library an exciting place to visit and learn. We have two bearded dragons, a goldfish aquarium and three betta fish. Adding a freshwater community tank would add to our growing interest in animals and ecosystems.
