Growing my students passion for reading, begins with books. These books would be the foundation for my students' future. I teach in a Title One school district where a high percentage of my students come from low-income homes. Living in a small community, I want to equip my students with the tools and knowledge that will help them to be successful. Through reading, my students will be able to develop in many different ways! They will learn new things, new words, develop an imagination and a good self-image. Spoken and written words are some of the building blocks to life!
