  • Fact Fluency Fanatics!

    Funded Mar 15, 2021

Thank you so much for donating to our class' project. My students will benefit from your contributions SO much, and it will have an impact on the educational endeavors in the future. Without fact fluency, students will not have the building blocks that they need for varying other math concepts, and your contribution will ensure that they have the proper foundation for their math skills. We appreciate your generosity!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Mayr

  • The Fault in Our Supplies

    Funded Dec 4, 2019

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom. We are so fortunate to have received the plethora of supplies, and to be able to use them on a daily basis. Our class has been able to do a lot of research projects, and create team posters based off of their research - thanks to the large isle paper we now have.

When my students saw our supplies arrive, they couldn't believe it. They asked where the materials had come from, and I said other had contributed via a DonorsChoose project, to support our classroom. They were shocked to see these generous Contributions, and promised to take care of our new materials.

In the future, we are going to be doing a lot more research projects to deepen their knowledge and gain more perspective on what's going on in other parts of the world. Thanks to the donations we have received, we will be able to do so without worrying about resources or funding to be able to do so. Thank you so much, again, for every generous contribution towards our classroom. As a first year teacher, it means the world.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Mayr

The supplies that I’ve listed are basic products that I need to complete our lessons during the week. My school provided some supplies for students this year, but not all that they needed. Many of my students’ families also can’t afford to go out and buy supplies for their child if they need it, or if they run out. I have a few basic supplies for my students, but I know they could thrive if I had more of a variety available for them to use during in-class work - such as clip boards, and white boards. Post-it pads are a supply that I need to teach ELA lessons also. I listed a variety of cleaning and antibacterial products as well, because my school is not able to provide me with those supplies this year. Please help my kiddos get what they need to be successful this year. It would mean the world to all of us.
