I am so thrilled this was funded!!! The kids will be able to read more, do research and do all sorts of learning in a motivating way. They can access the technology with charged up devices. No more pulling out ipads, only to find out they need charging. They also have a comfy pillow to make it interesting during their independent reading time. This is so exciting. I can't wait to share this with my second grade students!!!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Verizon and 4 other donors.

My second graders are in a school nestled in the northern mountains of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles. Our school is a Title 1 school, with more than 80% on free or reduced lunches provided. We are looking for different ways to make learning fun. Being separate from the main city we don't have the same available resources as other Los Angles Unified Schools.
